Quick answer
CP is DRAPLINE’s persistent currency. It is stored in your save, earned at the end of a run and spent on loop bonuses, the between-run upgrades. Because bonuses can be switched off for a full refund, CP behaves less like money you spend and more like points you allocate.
A completed run pays out for reaching week 48 (+12), defeating bosses (+5 each, up to +20), clearing the scenario (+10), finishing without debt (+10) and the total of the dragon’s stats. That last term is the one to watch: the two Japanese wikis record it differently.
What CP is, and how it differs from BP
CP survives between runs. The clearest official trace is a patch note from version 0.7.2, which added a process to correct discrepancies between the CP shown in save data and the actual CP value — a fix that only makes sense for a resource persisted in the save rather than a per-run score.
How a run pays out
| Source of CP | Recorded value |
|---|---|
| Weeks reached | Maximum +12, at +1 per four weeks reached |
| Bosses defeated | Maximum +20, at +5 per boss for up to four bosses |
| Scenario cleared | +10, recorded as doubled to +20 on DAYS OF TORNADO Lv.2 |
| Cleared without debt | +10 |
| Stat total bonus | Tiered by the sum of the dragon’s stats; one wiki lists +19, the other publishes a table that runs from 16 to 26 between roughly 32,000 and 54,000 total |
A clean full run therefore pays at least 42 CP from the flat entries alone — 12 for the weeks, 20 for the bosses and 10 for the clear — before the stat bonus and the debt-free bonus are counted. That is the number the wiki uses to tell new players they can start buying bonuses after one solid run.

Where CP goes
CP buys loop bonuses: 75 for +20% physical damage, 100 for +10% to all stats, 40–60 for higher ingredient and skill rarity, and smaller amounts for item packs such as gift boxes. The same wiki totals the whole list at 875 CP.
Because removing a bonus refunds its CP, the practical question is not “what can I afford” but “what do I need for this run”. That also makes CP a poor measure of progress: a player with 300 CP allocated across six bonuses has no less than one holding 300 unspent.
What is unresolved
Two disagreements are worth knowing. The stat-total bonus is recorded as a single +19 value in one wiki and as a tiered table ending around +26 in the other, and the two cannot both be exact — a different counting method or a version change explains the gap, and neither is confirmed. Separately, Korean community text mentions CP being “wasted” on higher difficulty, which may be a mistranslation of BP.
There is also no confirmed CP ceiling, and no source in this batch shows whether DRAGON’S DISCIPLINE adds its own CP sources or bonus prices. Treat every number above as a July 2025 measurement of an Early Access build.
