Quick answer
DRAPLINE does not officially support Korean. The Steam release lists English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese for interface and subtitles, and the official appdetails metadata returns the same three languages under supported_languages.
Players who want Korean use an unofficial fan patch. NamuWiki files Korean language support as “informal support” with a footnote that reads “Korean patch”, but the sources checked here record no patch author, download location or verified compatibility with the 1.0.2 build. The developer has published no Korean support announcement.
What the official records say
Two independent official records agree. The Steam store page language block shows a check for English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese in both the Interface and Subtitles columns, while the Full Audio column stays empty. The Steam appdetails API answers the same question in one field: "supported_languages": "Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese".
Launch coverage repeats that list rather than adding to it. Gematsu and Noisy Pixel both reported, from the publisher’s announcement, that the game ships with English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese support. Neither mentions Korean.

The 1.0.0 patch notes point the same way. They describe translation work on English and Simplified Chinese, and say nothing about Japanese or Korean — the two languages that were not part of that pass.
How to change the language in game
The game changes language from the title screen. Select the Language icon at the bottom right, then choose Japanese, English or Simplified Chinese.
That description comes from a Japanese community wiki page whose three-language text matches the official store listing. The store page remains the stronger source for which languages exist; the wiki is useful for where the switch lives.
Why the community Korean patch is not official support
The Korean-language NamuWiki entry is the origin of most “Korean support” claims. Its information box records Korean language support as informal support, and the footnote attached to that row says Korean patch — a community translation, not something the publisher ships.
Demand has been visible for a while. A Steam discussion post from 16 June 2025, two weeks before the Early Access launch, asked the developer to add Korean; the thread shows no replies. Nothing in the sources checked here shows an official response or a commitment to add the language.
A caption track is not a language option
A launch-week YouTube video lists 21 auto-generated caption tracks, Korean included. Those tracks are created by YouTube’s speech recognition, not by the game, so they say nothing about the languages DRAPLINE ships with. The store language block and the appdetails field are the records that answer the question.
Korean on this site, Korean in the game
This guide site is also published in Korean, and that choice is separate from the game’s own language support. These Korean pages are an independent translation of the same checked material, not an official localization. Japanese and Simplified Chinese readers get the same distinction on their language versions of this page.
