Quick answer
“Random events” usually means one specific weekly action: Let Coo decide, which costs 10 stamina and produces a random outcome. A Japanese wiki sums it up in one line — what happens depends on the moment.
Randomness also lives outside that action. The dragon asks to eat things, a fairy occasionally appears, fake bills arrive, and the shop voucher market moves on its own. No official event list exists; everything below is community documentation, and most of it has a single source.
The weekly action it belongs to
Each week offers three actions from a pool of five, according to the English wiki: help a villager (−15 stamina), train with Morgentiana (−15), go shopping (free), fight a small calamity (−25), or let the dragon decide (−10). Resting at home restores 60 stamina when none of the offered options is affordable.
Choosing “Let Coo decide” spends the week and 10 stamina for an outcome you cannot pick. The Japanese wiki labels that same option as the random event and states plainly that what happens is up to chance.
Recorded outcomes of the weekly event
One community wiki lists these results. Treat the details — especially the amounts — as a single-source record rather than a rulebook:
- The dragon goes outside: stats, tendencies and even the Dragon Breath effect can change at random.
- Defence switches to evasion, or evasion switches back to defence.
- A stamina payout event, recorded as +30 action points.
- A gold vein behind the mountain: you can mine up to three times, and each extra dig costs 5, 10 and then 15 more stamina.
- A treasure chest behind the mountain: feed it to the dragon for a random artifact, or carry it home for 250G.

Random events outside the weekly action
The events players actually search for sit in this group. Several have official achievement entries, which is what makes them verifiable at all:
- “Can I eat this?” prompts — the dragon asks to eat scenery, ground or food. A community record says these appear more often with a WILD tendency, and another says the prompt can also arrive at the end of a week.
- The fairy — occasionally the offered snack is a fairy. Eating it raises several stats and unlocks the No Mercy achievement; letting it go earns a thank-you letter and the Fairy Dust artifact later. The guide author who documented the low spawn rate says they reloaded for about two hours before it appeared, and the official achievement sits at 32.7% of players.
- Fake bills — invoices arrive for things the dragon supposedly ate. Paying one is the recorded condition for the Sucker achievement.
- Store voucher trading — a side event where vouchers are bought and sold with prices moving between roughly 50 and 5,000, described as rising and falling in a wave.
- Correction Program — an event added in version 0.9.3 that unlocks when the personality is heavily WILD. This one has an official update note behind it.
The villager-eating threshold
One consequence of the eating prompts is counted exactly. Three independent community sources agree: eating one villager is treated as a disappearance and passes without consequence, eating a second puts you on Morgentiana’s radar, and eating a third brings her to fight you — after which the normal endings are no longer available.
Because that third villager locks a route, it belongs next to the endings material rather than buried here. The endings page documents which outcomes the Morgentiana fight leads to.
What nobody has documented
There is no official event list, and the biggest community observation is itself contested: one player reports that the weekly outcomes feel broadly balanced, then adds that eating events seem decided before the week starts, so reloading never changes them. Both statements come from the same comment and neither has been verified.
Two structural gaps explain the state of the documentation. The Japanese wiki’s trivia page is still an empty template, and most event records predate version 1.0, so any event added with the release would be missing from every table in circulation.
